The Red Wine Caesar!
Now I know what you’re initially thinking…red wine Caesar? For those who appreciate a good red as well as a delicious Caesar, this is THE mix for you! I was skeptical before I tried this recipe for myself, but trust me. You & your taste buds can thank me later.
What You’ll Need:
Mott’s Clamato Original
2 ounces Vodka
Worcestershire Sauce
Three 38 Caesar Rimmer
Limes
Red Wine (a bold & savory Cabernet Sauvignon such as Cupcake or 19 Crimes)
Your favorite cocktail glasses
Olives, pickles, cheese and your favorite deli meats for garnish
Seven hours
The time investment may seem a little extreme at 7 hours
(10 minutes to mix up, 6 hours & 50 minutes to enjoy with amazing friends)
Rub the rim of your glass with a quarter lime & then coat with Three 38 Caesar Rimmer then fill with a generous amount of ice.
simple Rimmer:
1 tsp Celery Salt
1 tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 tsp Paprika
We’re going to add 2oz of Vodka to this bad boy, we aren’t here for the conversation!
Once again Reyka Vodka gets the call here. We keep ours in the freezer, but that’s not necessary.
Some like it HOT!!
Three38 Caesar Splasher was made from the ground up for Caesars, the question here is how much do you want? While it has a similar spice level to Tabasco it has hints of pepper and pickle with just the right acidity for a Caesar. We suggest two squeezes for this cocktail.
Add a “splash” or two…or four of our Casesar Splasher. The amount depends on your taste.
Motts Clamato
Next, add in your Clamato, making sure to leave enough room for the addition of the red wine (about an inch & a half).
Time to wine!
Slowly drizzle the red wine on top of your Clamato, creating a layered look.
We chose to garnish with a personal Charcuterie Skewer - pickles, cheese, olives & your favorite meats.
Our bevvy is now ready tp present to the luck recipient. Just don’t forget to give it a quick stir beforehand.
